We’ve just come back from the most fantastic experience at our opticians, and I honestly couldn’t wait to leave this review. I brought all five of my children (aged 10 down to 4!) for their eye tests, and as any parent knows, that could have been chaotic. Instead, it was calm, organised, and surprisingly enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel completely welcome. They spoke to each child individually, explained everything in a way they could understand, and somehow managed to keep them all engaged and relaxed. Noel was incredibly patient — never rushed, never flustered — even when little attention spans started to wobble. They turned the tests into something fun rather than intimidating, especially for my youngest who was a bit nervous at first. By the end, all five were smiling and chatting about their “special eye check.” What really stood out was how genuinely kind and attentive the staff were. They didn’t just treat us like another appointment slot — they took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and made sure each child had the right advice and fit for the glasses. Choosing frames with five opinions flying around could have been stressful, but the team handled it with humour and patience. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism, efficiency, and real warmth so effortlessly.
